It's certainly a very peculiar situation isn't it...
ReplyDeleteI am not anti gay marriage, against sex change, homophobic or anything like that - I believe people should be encouraged to be who they are without having to feel as though they must hide from society in fear of being unfairly judged.
ReplyDeleteHOWEVER.COM... If you are to make a decision to change sex, then it must be a dedicated decision, rather than a half hearted choice to become something that you know may cause upset - then go and sell yourself to the media.
It is a tradiotional cry for attention - then, when people start to unfairly judge - we are surprised and tell them they are in the wrong.
If a you decide to become a circus clown, you should not be upset when people start to laugh at you.
Lmao! Phil thats a bit harsh...But i understand your sentiment. Once you have begun altering the body you live in it becomes very confusing especially in a day and age where we encourage freedom of expression. I mean Ive just got my head around the fact that the individual above was once a female...Now she/he has had a child as a man...
ReplyDeleteAnything that draws that much attention is going to draw heavy criticism. I agree with Phil, if you're making that decision then you should expect to have to withstand the consequences. I'm not saying his actions are morally wrong, but the way he's responding to the fall-out is.
